Our Founder
From a young age, I developed a deep appreciation for food, nutrition, and entrepreneurship. Growing up in a family with strong agricultural roots, I was exposed to the value of natural, wholesome ingredients and the impact of food on health and well-being. My journey into the food industry was influenced by my grandfather, a farmer and hunter, and further shaped by my family's health struggles with diabetes and high blood pressure. Witnessing firsthand how diet played a crucial role in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, I became passionate about creating nutritious and accessible food options.
My entrepreneurial journey began with a keen interest in business and problem-solving. With an educational background in Biochemistry and International Business, I developed a unique blend of scientific knowledge and business acumen. My career spanned across finance, business development, and consulting, but I always harbored a vision of making a tangible impact in the food industry. This vision led me to launch my snack company in 2019, a venture dedicated to producing healthy, high-quality, and delicious snacks for a growing market of health-conscious consumers.
Understanding the challenges in food processing and distribution, I took an innovative approach by integrating sustainable sourcing, quality assurance, and technology-driven processes into my business model. My company, Inspochupa, quickly gained traction, expanding into multiple markets and establishing a strong presence in both local and international retail outlets.Â
Beyond business success, I am deeply committed to social impact and sustainability. Inspochupa aligns with SDG 2, SDG 3, SDG 8, SDG 9, SDG 12, SDG 13, SDG 17, ensuring that food production remains ethical, environmentally responsible, and beneficial to communities. Through partnerships with local farmers, Inspochupa promotes fair trade and supports agricultural development, while also leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency.
As a visionary leader, I continue to push boundaries, embracing innovation to scale my business while staying true to my mission of nourishing lives through food. My dedication to excellence, resilience in the face of challenges, and unwavering belief in the power of healthy eating have positioned me as a trailblazer in the food industry. With ambitious plans for further expansion, I envision Inspochupa becoming a household name, bringing nutritious and delicious snacks to family tables across Africa, Europe, and America.

Founding Story
"My journey began, not in a boardroom, but in a laboratory. As a biochemist, I peered into the intricate dance of molecules, understanding how food shapes our very being. I realized many people ate food that wasn't good for them, even though it tasted good. I wanted to change that. I wanted to make tasty food that was also healthy and enjoyable. I understood the power of healthy food, yet saw the harm of processed foods. It was like good taste and health were completely separate.
This realization wasn't just academic; it was deeply personal. I saw friends and family struggling with health issues, often linked to dietary choices. I felt a burning desire to change the narrative, to prove that 'healthy' didn't have to mean 'bland' or 'boring.'
My first venture, a condiment and seasoning brand, was born from this passion. It was an experiment in crafting flavors that tantalized the taste buds while nourishing the body. We meticulously sourced ingredients, blending spices and herbs to create culinary experiences that were both vibrant and wholesome. The response was incredible. People were hungry for flavor without compromise.
But the journey didn't stop there. I noticed another gap: the world of snacking. The shelves were overflowing with sugary, processed options, leaving those seeking healthier alternatives with limited choices. That's when the vision for our snack brand took shape in 2020. A sister company, a culinary playground where indulgence and wellness could coexist.
Drawing on my biochemistry background, I delved into ingredient research and tried new ways to make snacks. We made cookies that tasted great without the sugar rush, chips that were satisfying but healthy, and fun crisps that were as fun as they were good for you. We even curated a sugar-free range, ensuring everyone could find their perfect snack.
The journey hasn't been without its challenges. Expanding from our Nigerian roots to the UK in 2022, becoming a member of the United Nations global market place (UNGM) and establishing export channels, required navigating complex regulations, cultural nuances, and logistical hurdles. We deliver our promise inline with the United Nations sustainable development goals SDG 2, SDG 3, SDG 8, SDG 9, SDG 12, SDG 13, SDG 17.
But the unwavering belief in our mission – to bridge the gap between ill health and great nutrition – fueled every step.
